A digital sign that we can place in the hallway entrance to the Career Learning Lab (L.72.00). This will support student awareness and engagement with career readiness activities and post-graduation outcomes. Removing barriers for students access and participation in these opportunities and resources the career learning lab provides.
The Career Learning Lab team members with use the screen to share and communicate with the JJ community (students, faculty, administration) our services, highlight internship and experiential learning opportunities, critical career readiness programs and events to support awareness, engagement and success with identify post-graduation plans for students.
Placement of a screen by the entrance; will need to cover a screen, a small computer, software, and outlet identification.
Adding the digital screen provides an additional channel for connecting with our JJ student, faculty and staff on a regular basis in a timely manner so that they are informed and can access the services and resources available to them for career readiness.
The team will oversee the regular update of the information shared on the screen. We will partner with DoIT on the hardware updates and maintenance.
The front desk FTE staff (Brandon and Betsy) will support the daily monitoring and oversight of the equipment.
