This proposal requests funding to equip a student-centered lounge and multipurpose space in L.69 with essential technology, including a large-format TV monitor, laptops, and presentation accessories (e.g., wireless casting devices and adapters). The goal is to create a flexible, technology-enabled environment that supports student collaboration, studying, programming, and presentations. The space will function primarily as an open student lounge while also serving as a reservable venue for student-centered workshops, meetings, and events hosted by campus partners.
The primary users of this space will be students, who will have open access to the lounge for studying, group work, leadership development, and informal engagement during operating hours. In addition, the space will be available for reservation by campus partners for student-centered programming, workshops, and small events. All technology will be available for use within the space, with staff support as needed to ensure appropriate and effective use.

Full-time and part-time staff in the L.69 suite will oversee the care, storage, and appropriate use of all equipment. Routine checks will be conducted to ensure functionality and address any issues.
Day-to-day operation and oversight will be managed by full-time and part-time staff working within the L.69 suite.
This proposal advances key institutional priorities by enhancing student engagement, promoting equitable access to technology, and supporting innovative learning environments. The project creates a resource-rich, flexible space that fosters collaboration, community building, and student success beyond the classroom.
