Full Time Helpdesk Position

We seek to fund a full-time position at the John Jay College service desk. This position is critical to provide continued night and weekend helpdesk service to the student community during normal and extended business hours. It is the Department of Information Technology’s (DoIT) intention to convert a part time 32 hour per week IT hourly Assistant position to a full time IT Asst. position with an internal candidate who passed a civil service exam. The proposal includes the full amount of the position but will be offset by eliminating the cost of the old IT Hourly position from the Technology Fee. Salary with Fringe included for IT Assistant $80,710
