This project seek to fund a site license for Qualtrics, a powerful research software program that will greatly benefit students at John Jay College. Qualtrics is a user-friendly software platform that enables individuals to create, distribute and analyze surveys, polls, and other forms of data collection. It is a widely used and respected tool across many academic fields and industries, and has become an essential component of modern research methodology for many organizations. At John Jay College, we strive to provide our students with the most effective tools and resources to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. Qualtrics is one such resource that has the potential to play a significant role in supporting student success. With access to the Qualtrics platform, our students will gain knowledge in how to manage research projects while also developing critical data analysis skills. These experiences are essential to success in a wide range of academic and professional fields. The ability to collect, analyze and interpret data is essential in fields like criminology, psychology, sociology, economics and business. If funded, access to Qualtrics will provide these skills and ultimately give our students a competitive advantage in their education and future careers.
